Taste Atlas, an online travel guide and culinary website, has just published a list of the world's ten best rice puddings. Three of the top ten puddings are Indian, with Phirni from Punjab in fourth place, Kheer from Odisha in fifth, and Sakkarai Pongal from Tamil Nadu in ninth. These sweet dishes are frequently served after meals and are commonly included on celebration menus. All of these sweet recipes are popular in every Indian home. It's no surprise that they've grown in popularity around the world. Firin Sutlac of Turkey has claimed the coveted number one spot on the list.
