Durga Puja, the five-day festival celebration, starts on October 8, which is Maha Panchami. The day marks the beginning of Durga Puja. Durga idols are usually brought to pandals or mandaps on this day. Although we know that Durga Puja is the biggest festival in West Bengal, many parts of India celebrate the festival with great fervour and enthusiasm. In North Bombay, Maa Durga makes her arrival at Durga mandap on Maha Panchami. North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja committee is suported by the Mukherjee family with crowdpullers being Rani Mukherji, Tanisha Mukherji, and Kajol. North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja 2024 committee posted several videos and pictures of Maa Durga and her arrival on Instagram. They also posted the full schedule, including the days and dates, new venue that is SNDT Campus and revealed the Daaker Saaj Maa Durga. Notably, Maha Panchami is on October 8, with Bodhon Puja at 7:00 PM. Maha Shasthi is on October 9, Maha Ashtami on October 11, with Ashtami Puja at 5:00 AM and Sandhi Puja starting at 06:24 AM and ending at 07:12 AM. Maha Navomi is on October 11 with Maha Navomi Puja at 9:30 AM and Pushpanjali at 10:00 AM. Dashami Visharjan will take place at 04:00 PM.
