The governments of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman have declared Sunday, September 15, a holiday in preparation for the Eid Milad-Un-Nabi festival. The holidays in UAE and Oman have been announced to mark Prophet Mohammed’s birthday.  Eid Milad Un Nabi marks the birth anniversary of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad (Mohammed, Mohammad). In its post on X, the UAE government said that Sunday, September 15 (12 Rabi al-Awwal 1446 Hijri) will be a paid public holiday for private sector employees to mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.
