On the occasion of Diwali today, October 31, politicians across party lines took to social media to extend Deepawali greetings. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to extend Diwali greetings. In his post, PM Narendra Modi said that he wishes everyone a healthy, happy, and prosperous life on the divine festival. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, in his post, wrote, "Happy Diwali!". While extending Diwali greetings to the countrymen, Home Minister Amit Shah said that may the festival of lights bring new energy, health and prosperity in the lives of everyone.
