The counting of votes for the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Elections 2024 has concluded. According to the Election Commission, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has swept the assembly polls in Arunachal Pradesh. The saffron party has bagged 46 seats out of 60 assembly seats. On the other hand, the National People's Party secured five seats, the Nationalist Congress Party won three seats, People's Party of Arunachal got two seats. Besides, the Indian National Congress won one seat, and the Independent candidates won three seats. In Sikkim, the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) led by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang won the Sikkim Assembly Election 2024 by winning 31 seats out of 32 assembly seats.
