In a surprising turn of events, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi made an unexpected visit to Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday, May 20, during the ongoing Phase 5 of the Lok Sabha Elections. A video shared by news agency ANI showed Rahul Gandhi inspecting a polling booth in Raebareli. The Congress leader, who is also contesting from Kerala's Wayanad, where he is a seating MP arrived in Raebareli earlier in the day.  Reports suggest he plans to visit additional voting centers across the parliamentary seat today. Voting is currently underway across 49 Lok Sabha constituencies in six states and two Union Territories, including the high-profile Rae Bareli and Amethi seats.
