BJP leader Mohan Charan Majhi today, June 12, took oath as the Chief Minister of Odisha in Bhubaneswar. Governor Raghubar Das administered the oath to office to Mohan Charan Majhi. After taking oath as Odisha CM, Majhi was seen hugging Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Majhi, a four-time MLA and party's tribal face, was picked as the CM-designate after senior state leaders Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram were pulled into the Union government. The BJP also picked two Deputy Chief Ministers from the state, KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida. Former CM Naveen Patnaik also attended the swearing-in ceremony.
