The Congress party, part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, released its second list of 23 candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections 2024. The grand old party has fielded Mahesh Gangane from Akot, Vijay Govind Patil from Vasai and Kalu Badheliya from Kandivali east assembly constituencies respectively. In its first list of 48 candidates, the Congress fielded state unit Chief Nana Patole from Sakoli, while Praful Vinodrao Gudadhe was nominated from Nagpur South West, and Balasaheb Thorat was nominated from Sangamner.
