As the day of polling nears, the political mercury is rising in Maharashtra. A video of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde entering the office of Congress candidate from Chandivali, Arif Naseem Khan, and confronting party workers has surfaced on social media. The incident took place on Monday night, November 11, when Shinde's convoy was crossing Naseem Khan’s office in Mumbai's Chandivali constituency when several party workers started shouting slogans calling him "Gaddar (traitor)". Angered over this, Shinde stopped his convoy, got out of the car and entered Khan's office. “Do you teach all this to your workers?" he questioned. Voting for the Maharashtra elections 2024 is scheduled to be held on November 20, and the results will be declared on November 23. Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: Shiv Sena Pushes for Eknath Shinde as Chief Ministerial Face Ahead of Vidhan Sabha Polls.
