The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday, May 24, claimed that VK Saxena, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, has ordered the Delhi Police to slow down voting in areas where there are many INDIA alliance voters. Taking to X, AAP minister Atishi claimed that VK Saxena ordered the Delhi police to do this so that people face difficulty casting their votes. "And I hope the Election Commission will take cognizance of this, and stop any such attempt," her tweet read. Reacting to Atishi's tweet, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the development is shocking. He also stated that the election commission should ensure smooth voting in Delhi.
