The president of the Congress Party, Mallikarjun Kharge, wrote to PM Narendra Modi on Thursday, April 25 over the party's manifesto 'Nyay Patra'. Mallikarjun Kharge, in his letter sought time from PM Modi to personally elucidate the party's manifesto. In his letter, Congress Chief told PM Modi that he was being misinformed by his advisors about things that were not even part of the Congress' manifesto. "It has become your habit to seize on a few words taken out of context, create communal divide", Kharge further added in his two-page letter. The Congress party launched its manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections at the party headquarters on April 5. The Congress manifesto promises giving justice to diverse sections of society including youth, women, farmers and the elderly, while the BJP aims to establish Bharat as a reliable global manufacturing hub.
