In her post on X, Mayawati said that she is removing her nephew Akash Anand from a key post at the party. In the past, Mayawati had announced Anand as the National Coordinator and her successor. However, she said that Akash Anand is being separated from both responsibilities in the larger interest of the party. "He is being separated from both these important responsibilities until he attains full maturity," her tweet in Hindi read.
