An invitation will be extended to PM Narendra Modi and the Union Home Minister to attend the inaugural session of the World Congress on Disaster Management, Pushkar Singh Dhami said. Amitabh Bachchan will take part as a brand ambassador, he added.
In a press conference on Tuesday, October 3, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government would invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home and Disaster Management Minister Amit Shah as chief guests in the inaugural session of the World Congress on Disaster Management 2023. An invitation will also be extended to PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah to attend the conference, he said. Padma awardee actor Amitabh Bachchan will take part in the conference as a brand ambassador. The 6th World Congress on Disaster Management will be held in Dehradun from November 28 to December 1 to deliberate on modern technologies for disaster risk mitigation.
