Acting on a tip-off from the Kalyan Forest Department, the Thane Forest Department raided the flat in Thane's Dombivli and uncovered several reptile species and a critically endangered orangutan. Officials said that the smuggled animals were found in appalling conditions inside the flat in Dombivli (East).
