According to the news agency ANI, Ramoji Film City's founder, Ramoji Rao, passed away while undergoing treatment at Star Hospital in Hyderabad. Ramoji Rao was the founder of Eenadu and Ramojii Film City. Kingmaker, a media mogul, a news maven, and a businessman were the few facets of his life. Notably, Rao transformed the landscape of Indian media when he launched Eenadu, a Telugu newspaper, on August 10, 1974. Rao is also credited for making NT Rama Rao, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and founding Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
