A major train accident has reportedly occurred in Rangapani in West Bengal today, June 17. According to news reports, the Agartala-Sealdah Kanchanjungha express train met with an accident after a goods train collided with it from behind. The train accident occurred between Rangapani and Chatterhat stations after the express train left New Jalpaiguri station. It is reported that the two rooms behind the beeline were hit by the freight car. Several passengers are reported to have got down from the express train in panic and many are feared injured.
