BJP candidate from West Bengal's Jhargram, Pranat Tudu, and his convoy were allegedly "attacked" by miscreants during the voting in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The incident occurred when Tudu was visiting booth number 200 in Monglapota in the parliamentary constituency today. A video of the incident showed a mob pelting stones and chasing Tudu, his security and several media teams. Coming under attack, his security personnel swiftly reacted and safely evacuated him from the place. The BJP alleged that Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers attacked the convoy when Tudu was visiting a polling booth in Garbeta area of the state's West Midnapore district after reviving a complaint that voters were being threatened there. Tudu is pitted in a trilateral fight against Kalipada Soren of Trinamool Congress and CPI(M)’s Sonamani Tudu. ‘EVMs Found With BJP Tags in Bankura’: TMC Claims BJP Rigging Votes by Tampering With Electronic Voting Machines, EC Responds.
