A protest is underway at Aarey in Goregaon against the metro car shed. After the new government led by CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis took over the previous government in Maharashtra, protests have been held at Aarey. The protests have gained momentum in wake of the government directing the Advocate General that the metro car shed be built in Mumbai's Aarey colony itself after they came into power in the state.
