Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday, October 19, said that he wants to leave the Chief Minister post, but the "post doesn't let me go". Gehlot said at a press briefing in Delhi “I want to leave the CM post but this post is not leaving me and won’t leave me.” This is likely a swipe at his rival Sachin Pilot who too is eager to become CM of Rajasthan. He went on to say that there "must be something in me" that the party high command had chosen him to lead the state thrice. Gehlot’s comments come as assembly elections are just weeks away in Rajasthan.
