The latest inclusion highlights the region's commitment to preserving its traditional craftsmanship and cultural heritage. Godawari Singh, a Padma Shri recipient and stalwart of the wood toy industry, emphasises the sector's significance, employing thousands and generating substantial revenue. Banarasi Paan, Banarasi Langda Mango, Two Other Varanasi Products Get Geographical Indication Tag, Kashi Region Now Has 22 GI Tag Products.
