Comedian Shyam Rangeela, known for mimicking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleged that his nomination has not been filed by the concerned authorities despite him having the proper documents. Rangella shared a video of himself from outside the DM’s (District Collector) Office in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, claiming that he has been waiting to file his nomination against PM Modi from constituency for Lok Sabha Elections 2024, yet the officials are not accepting his nomination. The latter further alleged that officials are providing privileges to several politicians “whose nomination they are willing to accept”, while other candidates are facing indifference.
