India's first Vande Bharat Metro train is set to launch on September 16, 2024, between Bhuj and Ahmedabad, Gujarat, marking a milestone for Indian Railways. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the service, which will operate six days a week. The Vande Bharat Metro will leave Bhuj at 5:05 AM, reaching Ahmedabad by 10:50 AM, and on its return journey, it will depart Ahmedabad at 5:30 PM, arriving in Bhuj at 11:10 PM. The route covers nine stations with an average stop of two minutes at each, completing the journey in 5 hours and 45 minutes. This new metro service is designed to benefit thousands of daily commuters traveling between these two key cities. The minimum fare for passengers will be INR 30.
