Heavy rainfall lashed several parts of Uttarakhand today, May 12. According to news agency ANI, heavy rain and hailstorms also lashed parts of Uttarakhand's Chamoli district. The change in weather brought much-needed respite from the soaring temperatures. The development comes hours after the MeT department issued an orange alert for five districts of Uttarakhand.
