In a shocking incident in Kanpur, a state police constable, Manoj Kumar, and his friend Rahul have been arrested for the murder of a nurse, Shalini Tiwari. The crime came to light when Shalini’s body was found in a well in Etah. Manoj, who was already married and had a relationship with Shalini, allegedly killed her when she pressured him for marriage. The accused transported the body to Etah and attempted to mislead the police by discarding Shalini’s phone in Ayodhya. The case, initially registered under section 366, has now been converted to section 302.
