A man from Rampur, Tushar Saxena, has been fined INR 1,000 by Noida police for allegedly driving his car without a helmet in Gautam Buddh Nagar district. The case unfolded when Saxena received a text message about the fine, which he initially dismissed as an error. Subsequent emails and messages confirmed the fine, prompting him to contact the traffic police. Saxena was informed that the penalty was for driving his four-wheeler without a helmet to Gautam Buddh Nagar, a claim he disputes as he believes it to be a mistake. Saxena, who bought his car in March last year and transferred its registration from Ghaziabad to Rampur, has appealed to the Noida traffic police to investigate and revoke the fine.
