A man accused of molesting a minor girl was injured in a shootout after he tried to escape police custody on Tuesday in Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi. The accused snatched a revolver from the head constable and fired at police. He was injured in the firing incident and is currently undergoing treatment in the district hospital.
