A massive fire erupted on Tuesday, September 19, as a cable wire from 11,000 kv line broke, causing damage to a thatched house at Basupur village in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki. The house caught fire after the cable wire fell on it. It was completely gutted as villagers failed to douse the blaze for fear of getting electrocuted. Everything inside the house got burnt to ashes.
