A toll booth worker has been critically injured after being struck by a speeding car on the Delhi-Lucknow Highway. The horrifying incident captured on CCTV occurred yesterday, June 6, at the Chhijarsi toll plaza in the Pilkhuwa Kotwali area. The white car, allegedly attempting to evade toll fees, deliberately ran over the worker, identified as Hemraj, while en route from Ghaziabad to Hapur before fleeing from the scene. Hemraj has been hospitalised and is in critical condition. A search has been initiated by the police for the absconding driver involved in the hit-and-run case.
