Uttar Pradesh police personnel used a plastic stool and a wicker basket as anti-riot gear in Unnao while trying to stop a protest yesterday. A senior police officer was suspended after images surfaced on social media. Twelve police personnel were injured when people protesting over the death of two motorcycle riders in an accident pelted stones at them near a village.
