In a disturbing incident, a viral video showing a police officer at the Imiliachatti police outpost in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur district receiving head and body massages from minor children inside police station premises has led to his suspension. The Superintendent of Police has taken swift action, suspending the head constable involved and directing the Circle Officer (Operations) to investigate the matter. The incident came to light on Monday when a video from the Imiliachatti police outpost, under the Aharoura police station, surfaced online. The video depicted Head Constable Bhanu Pratap having three minor children massage his head, arms and legs. Reports suggest that Pratap frequently summoned children to provide massages. Superintendent of Police Abhinandan, upon reviewing the viral video, immediately suspended Bhanu Pratap. Assistant Superintendent of Police (Operations) O.P. Singh confirmed the incident, stating that the video had indeed gone viral on social media, prompting the SP to take action against the head constable.
