In a disturbing incident, a youth entered an ancient Shiva temple in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao and assaulted devotees. CCTV cameras installed within the temple captured the incident. The incident's footage is currently doing rounds on social media. A man can be seen in the video hitting worshippers as they approach the shrine with a stick in his hand. Several devotees were hurt as a result of the incident that reportedly took place on Friday. According to reports, three devotees were hurt in the incident. The devotees are said to be in serious condition and have been transferred to Lucknow's Trauma Centre. The individual has been identified as Pappu (26) of Bangarmau, son of Javed, and a resident of Mohalla Dargah Sharif. The perpetrator was apprehended by other pilgrims within the shrine and turned over to authorities. An FIR has been filed against the accused, who has been taken into custody.
