A man killed himself by consuming poison pills because he was reportedly harassed by the local headman and accomplices. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Sunil Tiwari, also known as Chhotu, a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur. Prior to his demise, he recorded a video of himself describing how the village head and his cronies had harassed him. In the clip, he said that he had consumed poison and that he did not know how long he would live, however, he pleaded that the accused responsible for his death not to be spared. According to reports, Sunil was taken to the hospital in serious condition. However, he died while receiving treatment. The police intervened after the video surfaced online and apprehended two accused.
