Leaders of the INDIA bloc protested inside and outside Parliament against alleged discrimination in the Union Budget 2024. She called the Opposition’s claims “outrageous” and accused them of misleading the public. Sitharaman's 2024-25 Budget marks her seventh consecutive presentation, breaking former Prime Minister Morarji Desai's record. This budget is the first under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's third term.
