Udupi Gang War: Man Mowed Down by Speeding Vehicle as Car-Borne Groups Clash in Karnataka; Two Arrested After Video Goes Viral

In Karnataka’s Udupi, a dramatic road rage incident occurred near Sharada Kalyana Mantap road, involving two groups. CCTV footage showed a white car reversing into a brown car with its doors open, then moving forward as youths wielded a talwar (sword). The white car reversed again, mowing down the man carrying a talwar. Both cars then drove off, and two youths were seen attacking the fallen man. The police arrested two individuals, Ashiq and Rakib, linked to the Garuda Gang. Udupi SP Dr. Arun K stated that a viral video showed two factions of the same gang clashing. A case was filed at the Udupi Town Police Station on May 20. Five other suspects remain at large.
