A video of a transgender person using a QR scanner to receive money inside a Mumbai local train has surfaced on social media. The video of the transperson getting donations via UPI was shared by an X handle named @mumbairailusers. The video revealed a transgender beggar seeking donations, to which the money is then sent through the UPI payment method. "Although begging is an unlawful activity inside railway premises & inside trains. This video depicts the EMERGING INDIA / DIGITAL INDIA under PM @narendramodi ji. Transformation,an Eunuch/ Transgender getting money thru UPI payment," the user wrote. The Mumbai division of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has responded to the video. "Thanks for information.
