A thief ran away with a mobile phone worth over INR 13,000 in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun after throwing chilli powder at the shopkeeper. The video, which has since gone viral, shows the thief, disguised with a cap and mask, standing at the counter. He then puts his hand inside his pocket in the pretence of making the payment for the mobile phone. He suddenly throws chilli powder into the shopkeeper’s eyes, causing him to recoil in pain. The elderly man, initially stunned, quickly realises the situation and shouts, “Catch him!
