Local shops in Rabodi, Thane, were vandalised and a 40 year-old shop-owner was allegedly attacked using a sword, knife, and wooden stick by five to seven armed, unidentified miscreants. The attack occurred on August 4 after a dispute regarding the buying and selling of gutka in the area. The attack was caught on CCTV cameras and a case was filed by the victim, Wasim Qureshi, at the local Rabodi police station. So far, five accused - Arif Shaikh (28), Khwaja Shaikh (24), Adil Shaikh (25), Javed Shaikh (38), and Rahul Yadav (25), have been arrested by the police. The scene of this attack was captured in the CCTV camera and a case has been registered against Asif, Adil, Arif and their accomplices in Rabodi police station. Police have arrested four people in this case.
