The Supreme Court on Thursday, October 12, said that there is need to balance right of unborn child along with Mother’s right as it is a living and viable foetus. The top court further said that they can’t kill a child. This comes in a case concerning the medical termination of pregnancy of a married woman who was in 26th week of pregnancy. The woman in question had pleaded before the court that she already has two children and she is mentally and physically not fit to take care of another child.
