Telangana Mud House Collapse: Three Children, Mother Killed As House Caves In at Nagarkurnool Due To Incessant Rainfall; Disturbing Video Surfaces

Tragedy struck a family in Telangana's Nagarkurnool district on Monday, June 1, claiming four lives after the roof of their house collapsed. Media reports indicate that the mud house, owned by an auto driver named Godugu Bhaskar, collapsed following heavy rainfall overnight. The incident reportedly took place in Vanapatla village of the district when the family had retired for the night after dinner on Sunday. Bhaskar’s wife, Padma, 25, two daughters, Vasantha (7) and Pappi (6),and a son who is 15-month-old were sleeping in the same room when the incident took place. Four members of the family died on the spot and got buried under the debris. Bhaskar sustained critical injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby government hospital.
