In a bizarre incident which took place on Sunday evening, a man stole a bus from the Siddipet bus terminal while posing as a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) driver. When the bus ran out of fuel mid-trip, he got out, collected money from passengers, and escaped. The man stole the bus and parked it at station. The latter told the passengers that it would leave for Hyderabad early on Monday. He got on the bus with a group of people going to Hyderabad, and he left. TSRTC representatives in Siddipet reported the incident to the local police, who investigated it and located and detained the impostor using video and photographic evidence from passengers.
