Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday condoled the death of seven people who were crushed to death in a road accident in Tami Nadu. Taking to X, PMO office said, "Saddened by the loss of lives due to a road mishap in Tirupathur, Tamil Nadu. Condolences to the bereaved families. I pray that the injured recover soon. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000." Earlier in the day, seven people were killed in a road accident in Tamil Nadu's Tirupathur.
