Tragedy struck Tamil Nadu as two successive explosions rocked a firecracker manufacturing factory near Sivakasi in the Virudhunagar district. The Fire and Rescue department reported the first explosion, followed shortly by a second blast at the factory in Kammapatti village. Unfortunately, the explosions claimed the lives of five individuals, as confirmed by the Fire and Rescue Department.
