She confirmed that she has submitted her statement to the Delhi Police regarding the incident. In her statement, Maliwal urged political parties not to politicize the matter, specifically mentioning the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). “BJP should not play politics over this incident,” she said. Maliwal also took a dig at those who claimed that she was doing all this on behest of other parties.
