A video footage from May 13 has been released, sparking controversy over an alleged assault at the residence of Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal. The video features AAP Rajya Sabha MP, Swati Maliwal, who claims she was assaulted by Kejriwal’s Personal Assistant, Bibhav Kumar. In the video, Maliwal is seen in a heated argument with the staff at Kejriwal’s residence. She can be heard stating that she had already called the police and would not leave until they arrived. “I will make sure you lose your job if you touch me,” Maliwal is heard saying in the video. Maliwal has since reacted to the video, stating that it was taken out of context and the truth would be revealed once the CCTV footage is checked. “Like every time, this time also this political hitman has started efforts to save himself. By getting his people to tweet and playing videos without any context, he thinks he can save himself by committing this crime. Who makes a video of someone being beaten up? The truth will be revealed to everyone as soon as the CCTV footage of the house and the room is checked. Fall to whatever level you can, God is watching everything. One day everyone’s truth will come out in front of the world,” Maliwal posted on X.
