In the latest development in the Swati Maliwal assault case, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh confirmed the incident today, May 14. Speaking to the media, Sanjay Singh said that the alleged assault on Swati Maliwal occurred on Monday, May 13, when Swati Maliwal had gone to Arvind Kejriwal's residence to meet him. "While she was waiting for him in the drawing room, Vaibhav Kumar allegedly misbehaved with her," he added. The AAP MP further said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has taken cognisance of the matter and has ordered strict action against the accused. The development comes a day after Swati Maliwal alleged that she was assaulted by the personal assistant of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. As per reports, Maliwal made a PCR call twice from Kejriwal's residence, alleging that she was "assaulted" by Delhi CM's personal assistant, Bibhav Kumar.
