BJP's Kerala MP, Suresh Gopi, has refuted reports suggesting his desire to be relieved from the council of ministers with the Modi cabinet. Gopi, in an interview, told CNBC-TV18 that he has already accepted his ministerial role and subsequently been sworn in. Refuting the reports, Gopi further stated that he is currently awaiting instructions on assuming his responsibilities within the Ministry. Gopi, a BJP candidate from Thrissur, won his constituency with 4,12,338 votes in the recently concluded Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
