In a dramatic turn of events, the Navi Mumbai traffic police and a taxi driver successfully prevented a 56-year-old woman from committing suicide on the Atal Setu Sea Link, which connects Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. A video of the incident has surfaced on social media, showing quick actions taken by the taxi driver and the traffic police to save the woman's life. The incident occurred around 7:00 pm on Friday, August 16. The woman, a resident of Mulund in Mumbai, attempted to jump into the sea from a flyover on the route. A taxi driver initially intervened, preventing her from jumping. Subsequently, Navi Mumbai’s Nhava-Sheva Traffic Police unit stopped her from jumping off the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL).
