In an apparent attempt to commit suicide, a man jumped from the second floor of Mantralaya building in Mumbai on Tuesday, September 26. According to the Mumbai police, the man survived the jump as he landed on the safety net put up inside the Mantralaya. "He fell on the safety net put up there so there was nothing untoward and he was safe. The man has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway," the police said. A video of the reported suicide attempt also surfaced online. In the video, the man is seen rolling on the safety net as a cop tries to rescue him. He can be heard shouting "Jai Jawan Jai Kisan" in the video.
