Sputnik V, Russian COVID-19 Vaccine, Approved by DGCI for Emergency Use Authorisation

The Drug Controller General of India on Tuesday gave an approval for Sputnik V, the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Russia, for emergency use authorisation. This comes a day after a subject expert committee approved the same. It becomes the third COVID-19 vaccine to be shown green signal in India after Covishield and Covaxin.
