A SpiceJet female staff member was arrested on Thursday at Jaipur Airport after allegedly slapping a CISF jawan during an argument over security screening. The incident, captured on video, involved Anuradha Rani, a food supervisor, and CISF Assistant Sub Inspector Giriraj Prasad. SpiceJet has alleged that the woman employee was sexually harassed by the CISF jawan and legal action is being taken by the airline. The confrontation began when Prasad stopped Rani at the vehicle gate, citing her lack of valid permission. Directed to undergo screening at the crew entrance, Rani found no female CISF personnel available. The argument escalated, resulting in Rani slapping Prasad. SpiceJet has issued a statement alleging that Rani was subjected to inappropriate language and sexual harassment by Prasad, including comments about meeting him after duty hours. The airline is taking legal action and has approached local police to support Rani. Authorities are investigating the incident following a complaint by Prasad, which led to Rani's arrest.
